Q. What is the difference in a ring from Pure Envy?

A. Pure Envy Designs are made thicker and stronger than many other rings being sold today..

 

Q. Why are they made thicker?

A. Quality comes first and thicker means more gold, longer lasting, easier to resize, and stronger for holding diamonds and gems stones.

Our Designs are made in our workshop and to the Pure Envy standards, so they last.

 

Q. How are rings often made?

A. Many other rings are made cheaply or in large factories or overseas, as light and thin as possible to keep the price down.

Rings that are lightweight and hollow can bend, wear away quickly and often lose Diamonds.

These cheap rings often collapse or loose stones as there is not enough metal securing the stones providing strength in both the band and the settings.

 

Q. Who makes Pure Envy rings?

A. We have our own fully equipped workshop studio where all our styles are designed and created by our team of talented crafts people.

 

Q. I have heard some Jewellers outsource the Diamond setting. Do you send our rings away to have the Diamonds set like other jewellers do.?

A. At Pure Envy we select and hand set each and every one of our Diamonds in house.

 

Q. Can we select our own Diamond?

A. Absolutely! We encourage our clients to choose their Diamond from our selection we provide.

 

Q. Do you Offer Certified Diamonds

A. Yes. GIA. HRD. Are the leaders in these fields and we have our Diamonds Independently certified.

 

Q. Do Branded Diamond have more Value?

A. No. Branded Diamonds are just that. A marketing campaign which requires you to pay for the advertising campaign and fancy brochures.

 

Q. Can we tell the difference between a brand name Diamond and a non branded Diamond?

A. All Diamonds reveal their beauty based on their cut, their colour and the amount of inclusions or particles visible within the Diamond. Two Diamonds set side by side will look different based on these reasons and not because pretty brochures, advertising materials and selling aids.

 

Q. Are Branded Diamond are Better to Buy?

A. Only if it is a one of a kind, a historical stone such as the Hope Diamond, a large and rare coloured Diamond or a unique stone in size and rarity or simply irreplaceable.

 

Q. What is the best Diamond to buy?

A. The one that you fall in love with the most. The one that sparkles brilliantly, has beautiful reflection and scintillation. The one that is nice and clean and most importantly the one that suits what you are prepared to pay for in the size that suits your style and taste.

 

Q. Why natural Diamonds?

A. Every Natural Diamond is Millions of years old and if cut properly will reveal an inner beauty that is unlike anything else ever created.

 

Q. Why are prices different from one jeweller to another?

A. Many rings display poor quality manufacturing standards, low quality cut Diamonds and sloppy setting techniques. Some rings are made to a price and not made to last the passage of time. Cheap rings are cheap for a reason. In price and often in quality.

 

Q. What is the standard thickness of Pure Envy rings?

A. Often the average jewellers have rings that are .9mm to 1.00mm thick, making them cheaper.

All Pure Envy rings are a minimum of 1.40mm 2.00mm thick. Rings are often resized over time and for this reason all of our ring bases are between 1.40mm 2.00 mm thick for many years of wear and resizing.

 

Q. Are all Diamonds the same?

A. Not all Diamonds are equal. 2 separate Diamonds may have the same cut, colour, and clarity but may not actually look the same and reflect light in the same manner.

This is what often makes the prices very different, even though the grades may be the same.

We believe quality is important, and balance of all Diamond features are what makes a Diamond come to life.

 

Q. Are Pure Envy rings made in Australia?

A. Yes! We create our own styles and designs in our studio workshop at our Hyde Park showroom.

 

Q. Where are Pure Envy rings designed?

Our designs are unique and are created, tested and then produced by our Design and manufacturing team led by Designer Jeweller Scott Anthony

 

Q. Can we design our own ring?

A. Yes! We can work with your design and create the perfect ring for you.

 

Q. Can we remodel and existing ring or rings to a new design?

A. Yes! We specialize in design and creation so this is available and one of our greatest passions.

 

Q. Why do other Diamonds sound the same but still look different.

A. Diamonds each have their own characteristics and each Diamond is priced according to the balance of these elements. A Diamond that is of the same size, cut, colour and clarity can still be cheaper but can still look very different from the other. This is why prices can vary from one to another.
